Jenny is an old high school friend who is getting married soon. Her and her fiance Neal opted for a stroll through Shreveport shooting. Including the steps of a crack house (not joking about this one). They were a fun couple and I’m looking forward to their wedding at the Masonic Temple in Shreveport in a couple weeks. Then I can post Jenny’s awesome bridals!
Erica and Dustin have become close friends of mine after meeting them at Angi and Matt’s wedding a little over a year ago. They invited me down to New Orleans for their engagement session. We did it a little different than most other engagement sessions. We start about 9:30 that morning in Jackson Square and ending up on the roof of the Monteleone that night, before meeting friends for a couple drinks at Pat O’Brians and tracking down this awesome pizza place not far from there. It was relaxing to be able to shoot all day but not “shoot” all day.
Anyway, below are my favorites from that day.
I love sessions like this! Gerard was in town on leave from Kosovo and his then girlfriend Leigh wanted to get some photos of them. I knew Leigh from the journalism program at NSU and happily agreed to take them.
Well, Gerard had a different idea in mind for the photos, getting down on one knee and proposing to her! So this is a true engagement session!
I met Ashley through her roomate Ashley and Josh through my work with his Fraternity shooting their parties and events. We decided to shoot down on the river and at a few of my other favorite places for their engagements. They were a fun and really relaxed couple to shoot, easily falling into a zone where I was almost completly ignored. Which I love, when I disapear I get some great candid photos!
I went to High School (and later College) with Angi and worked closely with her Mom in Airline’s Theatre program. These two were a ton of fun to just hang out with and shoot. Her bridals were even more fun and the Wedding was a blast!
